Hardys Wines is one of Australia’s largest winemakers and Accolade Wines’ flagship label. Thomas Hardy created the company over 160 years ago with a vision “To create wines that would be prized in the markets of the world”. Hardys required a website with a “highly visual focus with utilisation of video and quality imagery” to showcase their wine with a “sense of minimalism”, “less menu items and “longer scrolling pages with less words”.
With over 120 wines and 20 ranges available in multiple global markets, the site needed to allow for variations in content and features across the regions including an online shop exclusive to the Australian market.
Our solution was to create a multi-regional website and Australian online shop employing a clean design with rich content and high quality imagery. We provided dynamic content blocks which allow for more variation and customisation of content throughout the site whilst maintaining a consistent level of quality and look and feel. Given the large number of wines Hardys produce, this flexibility also permits each wine to incorporate a depth and range of content reflecting its unique qualities.
